Contestants WILL BE MEETING ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON FOR INTERVIEWS AT AN OFF-SITE LOCATION
Contestants must arrive by 6:30pm
CONTESTANTS WILL SELL cash RAFFLE (50/50) TICKETS AND MINGLE WITH THE CROWD (IN THEIR BAR WEAR OUTFITS) FOR 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE CONTEST.
The contest will start PROMPTLY AT 8:00PM.
Contestants should provide (3) wardrobe changes: 1.) Bar Wear; 2.) THEME WEAR; and 3.) Fantasy/Impress the Judges.
NO genitalia can be displayed during the contest. No water nor liquids will be allowed on stage.
Answer on-stage question/challenge that will be drawn randomly by contestant.
Represent the Kentucky Bourbon Bears and the LGBTQ+ Community in a positive manner for (1) full year; MUST Attend a minimum of (6) in-person club meetings;
Work in tandem with the Kentucky Bourbon Bears board members to assist with local events, activities, and fundraisers in Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, and other surrounding cities; Attend and MUST volunteer a minimum of (2) hours at Lexington Pride Festival in June. If your schedule permits, try to attend other surrounding cities’ pride festivals; Contestants are encouraged (but not required) to participate & compete at our North American Bear Contest in February; Conduct at least (2) in-person or online fundraisers to raise money for local charities of your choice. These fundraisers should be mentioned at a club meeting so the board members can add them to our club schedule.
THE KENTUCKY BOURBON BEARS ASK ALL WINNING TITLE HOLDERS TO REFRAIN FROM COMPETING FOR ANY OTHER NON-KBB SPONSORED CONTESTS/PAGEANTS DURING THEIR TITLE YEAR SO YOU CAN FOCUS YOUR ATTENTION ON THE CLUB, ITS EVENTS & FUNDRAISERS, AND RECRUITMENT OF NEW MEMBERS & FUTURE TITLE HOLDERS. YOU *ARE* ENCOURAGED TO COMPETE IN OUR KBB-SPONSORED NORTH AMERICAN BEAR CONTEST IN FEBRUARY IF YOU WISH.
